Hat-trick of activity at Holford

DTZ Investors has seen a busy autumn 2017 at Holford Industrial Park, in Birmingham, with a flurry of activity.

Nexus 3, Holford

DTZ Investors purchased this modern, 36,000 sq ft unit in October, to add to its substantial existing holdings at Holford. The unit is let to EEF and is configured as an industrial and manufacturing training and education centre.

The purchase increases our holding at Holford and improves the diversity of unit size and tenant mix at the estate, in line with the Fund’s strategy of investing in strong locations with asset management potential. The unit was purchased for £3.25m (5.07% NIY) and Harris Lamb represented DTZ Investors.

Unit 10, Holford

DTZ Investors recently completed a new letting at Unit 10, Holford Industrial Park. The 15,690 sq ft unit was refurbished and pre-let to National Grid on a new 10-year lease at £6.25 per sq ft. Cushman and Wakefield and Harris Lamb acted for DTZ Investors.

Unit 12, Holford

DTZ Investors has just completed the refurbishment of Unit 12, Holford Industrial Park. The 125,000 sq ft unit, which was previously split into two, has been reinstated as one unit and comprehensively refurbished following a 30-week programme, including a new roof and complete overhaul of the ancillary offices. Reirse Ryan was the lead contractor with Malcolm Hollis as project manager.

This project has successfully delivered a high-quality, modern warehouse with excellent prominence, tailored for the Birmingham market. The unit was officially launched to the market with an agents’ reception on Thursday 16th November. For further details, please contact our joint agents, John Sambrooks (john.sambrooks@cushwake.com) and Neil Slade (neil.slade@HarrisLamb.com).
