The Tech City Portfolio transacted for £26m

DTZ Investors acquired the Tech City Portfolio from Martins Properties for £26m.  

The portfolio comprises of three multi-let office buildings; 130 City Road, 140 Old Street and 100 Bunhill Row. The properties are located in proximity to the Old Street Roundabout in EC1; which has become synonymous with the Tech sector.  

Martin’s Properties area family owned investment company based in Chelsea and were advised by Springer Nicolas and Hatton Real Estate on the sale of the portfolio.  

Charlotte Barton, DTZ Investors commented that: “The acquisition of the Tech City Portfolio provides further exposure to a London growth market. The assets provide opportunities to add value in an area well positioned to benefit from major transformation.   

Shaun Simons of Hatton Real Estate said: “The three properties are all located in the City fringe, office market and since Martins Properties initially purchased the assets the area has seen unprecedented growth as the spotlight has been turned on the area as a key business location and the focus of the UK technology sector.
