DTZ Investors sells Brickyards Industrial Estate to Cardiff University
DTZ Investors have completed the sale to Cardiff University of the freehold interest in a 2.6 acre site at Brickyards Industrial Estate, Cardiff, for £4.15m, reflecting £1.6m per acre. The property comprised 35,908 sq ft of former industrial units arranged across three terraces and a stand-alone unit. It was sold with vacant possession.
The sale realised a significant marriage value by combining ownership for the University with the existing students halls and sports complex adjoining the site.
Cooke and Arkwright acted on behalf of DTZ Investors.
