DTZ Investors Complete a Comprehensive Sustainable Refurbishment of 15a Deans Road, Canon Industrial Park
DTZ Investors has successfully completed the comprehensive sustainable refurbishment of Unit 15a, Deans Road, at Canon Industrial Park. Located in Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes, Canon Industrial Park comprises circa 192,000 sq. ft of prime, multi-let industrial space across 29 units, with unit sizes ranging from 2,278 sq. ft to 13,553 sq. ft.
DTZ Investors undertook a full programme of sustainable refurbishment works at Unit 15a, following the previous lease expiration to improve the unit’s appearance and condition. Some of the sustainable improvement works undertaken included the replacement of the unit’s roof, a new insulated electric roller shutter door, new double-glazing windows and the installation of bird boxes to nearby trees. Internally, LED-lighting, electric panel heaters and low-flow water appliances have been installed. Accordingly, the improvement works led to an uplift of the Unit’s EPC rating from a ‘D’ to a ‘B’ rating, thereby future proofing the asset and implementing DTZI’s robust in-house sustainability programme.
Unit 15a is an end of terrace unit and totals 5,160 sq. ft of Grade A warehouse, office, and ancillary accommodation. In addition, Unit 3a Deans Road which comprises 8,660 sq. ft is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, including the installation of an additional loading bay door and significant modernisation of both the warehouse and office accommodation, to offer Grade-A accommodation to the market.
