DTZ Investors secure Aldi at Anchor Retail Park
DTZ Investors is pleased to announce the completion of a new 20-year lease to Aldi in Unit 2, Anchor Retail Park. The property is one of the few remaining inner-London retail parks situated just over a mile from the City of London.
Unit 2 is 15,397 sq ft and, at the time of purchase in Q4 2024, was let to Asda with 9 months’ unexpired on an ex-Act lease.
Aldi were identified following a competitive marketing process, demonstrating the strong unmet occupier demand and resulting in a substantial rent increase.
Lease regear discussions continue with Halfords and Currys as the other incumbent tenants with Aldi, as a replacement food anchor, protecting the tenant mix. Aldi are targeting an open date in Q4 2026.
