DTZ Investors hosts The Land Collective students

As part of our ongoing collaboration with The Land Collective, we were delighted to welcome Prashil Mehta and Lilia Hakem for a week’s work experience. Both Prashil and Lilia worked within the Direct Real Estate Asset Management and Investment teams at DTZ Investors.

The week consisted of supervising asset managers, inspecting a number of assets under management and assisting with investment and disposal strategies. The experience allowed the students to have exposure to direct and indirect fund mandates as well as experience with FOLK Co-Living.

Lilia commented "DTZ Investors organised a really insightful week that’s really helped me understand this aspect of the built environment on a deeper level which I’m excited to take into my career soon."

Prashil added "It was an incredibly valuable experience and I now have a greater understanding of the various asset classes in real estate from logistics to residential. Seeing how real estate allocations vary to match various risk preferences of clients was interesting, as well as the effects of regulation changes such as BREEAM and EPC ratings on the performance of real estate.”

We also welcomed nine students from The Land Collective for an Insight morning, which included a presentation on DTZ Investors, a CV workshop and networking event.

Many thanks to The Land Collective for the continued engagement and for the students who attended the work experience week and insight morning.
